People are missing the point about all this smear
In the last 2 days Drudge has sent out:
1) Hillary states in her court case a 12 y/o girl that was raped asked for it.
2) Hillary's camp is circulating a photo of Obama dressed up like a muslim.

This just the last two days this has been circulated all over the country. It's not helping the democratic party at all by using smear on a daily basis of the Clinton's. We have a long way to go in this election cycle and both Huckabee and Clinton are staying in and going to the convention due to the other candidates can't get the delegates required to win.

People don't realize the psychological effects these thing do to voters. If this type of behavior toward the Clinton's happens constantly until the convention it will be a major issue for her supporters come GE.

4. The thing about the rape case that was so telling was the number
of Hillbots that supported her supposed grilling of the 12 year old rape victim.

5. After the nomination, will these smears be allowed?
I'm assuming that these Drudge smears will not be allowed to remain and those who post them at DU will be tombstoned once we have a nominee, right?

There was a thread with a Kristol smear of Obama and it was locked, so apparently some things are still considered beyond the pale.

6. So the Republicans STOLE Hillary's strategy.
The point is, they realize that her tactics are so despicable that it will cause genuine infighting between Democrats supporting either candidate.

This was LOSE-LOSE for the Clintons and only reinforces that they will say or do ANYTHING to get elected.

At least if the Republicans came out with this $hit in the general election, we would be fighting them TOGETHER, UNIFIED AS A TEAM.

Now the party is fractured with Obama and his supporters very angry over this and supporters of Clinton trying to defend the indefensible.

I am done with Clinton. Period.

8. Your making my point clearly Tatiana
With all this smear coming from the Obama camp and blaming it on the Clinton camp, the Clinton supporters are beginning to feel, "I'm done with Obama". Thanks for reinforcing what the point of my thread was about. And remember this stuff is going out to millions of Democrats.

11. This smear did not come from the "Obama camp." It clearly originated in Clinton's camp.
Did you read the article in Politico?

Some spy in Hillary's campaign leaked the email to Drudge. But this was Clinton's idea and the Republicans are taking advantage of it.

If Clinton's campaign never came up with this method of attack, we wouldn't be discussing this right now.

Don't blame Drudge for exploiting this. Blame the source: Hillary Clinton and Mark Penn.

Why in the HELL would you blame Obama for something HILLARY did? What kind of sense does that make?

Why are you trying to defend the indefensible?

12. Can you list whom the spy in Hillary's camp was?
If not it's pure drudge. And for that matter, it probably came from a spy in the Obama camp and blamed it on the Hillary camp so that Obama will get more votes.

13. This whole affair raises several questions in my mind.
If this picture was included in an email from one campaign staffer to another, is that really circulating it on the internet? I haven't seen the actual email that has been referred to and have only seen one sentence quoted from it so I can't be certain what the motive was in sending it. What were the actual circumstances? Did the Clinton campaign actually circulate it? How does Drudge have access to Clinton staffers emails? It appears to me that the circulation has been done by Drudge and not the Clinton campaign. I'm very skeptical of "facts" from Drudge when it involves Democrats.
