Nader is trying to be a spoiler again
For fucks sake not again sometimes I think he's a paid disrupter from the repuke camp.

WASHINGTON - Ralph Nader is launching a third-party campaign for president.

The consumer advocate made the announcement Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." He says most Americans are disenchanted with the Democratic and Republican parties, and that none of the presidential contenders are addressing ways to stem corporate crime and Pentagon waste and promote labor rights.

1. He will have no impact whatsoever this time...the only votes he'll
get are from people who wouldn't have voted anyway.

10. He really didn't make a difference in 2004...his time is past...
...largely because he had too much influence in 2000.

3. The Dems are energized this time. We do see a difference in candidates.
He will have no influence and get less than the .38% of the vote he got last time.

5. First thing, keep him off the ballot.
Isn't he getting started a little late?

I say we keep his name off the ballot in as many states as possible. That will do wonders for taking the air out of Nader's sails.

9. Nice to see democracy is alive and well in the United States
Why am I not surprised to hear solutions that worked for the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany and Communist China being bandied around?

11. Thank you, Tech Bear
No one seems to be examining WHY people voted for Nader in the first place. Could it be because he supports unions and advocates scrapping treaties like GATT and NAFTA, Could it be because he wants insurance companies out of health care?

Heaven forbid we would actually explore those topics.

7. In spite of his height, Nader is now just an egotistical, sad and pathetic little man
I think Democrats understand his impact on the election of 2000. No, he was not the single reason that Bush was elected, but he in no way helped Gore. Now he is just a joke. It's too bad that more people do not know what he is really all about.

13. No
What he's going to do is siphon votes away from Democratic candidates maybe not many. He will bring the Green vote which would help our side, if he doesn't run the Democratic candidate will get them.

12. You would think the old fool would care more for the country that
he has worked so hard to improve when he was younger.

14. The Democrats will eagerly let him
It's so much easier than appealing to the voters they have alienated, and possibly (shudder) winning.
