If so, then my God, I'm glad we found out now and not during a general election. So far, every time she tries to take off the gloves, she ends up damaging herself and leaving her opponent unscathed.

She tried attacking Obama on a Kindergarten essay. It blew up in her face.
She tried implying Obama was just "the Black candidate." It blew up in her face.
She sent out Bill to go ultra-negative. It blew up in her face.
She tried minimizing her losses by claiming those states didn't count. It blew up in her face.
She accused Obama of providing "false hope." The attack blew up in her face.
She tried calling Obama a plagiarist. It blew up in her face.
She ran a bunch of attack ads in Wisconsin. They blew up in her face.
She held a "shame on you" press conference. It blew up in her face.
Now, today's lovely bit of race-baiting, which is, predictably, blowing up in her face.

Now, don't get me wrong. I like to see a fighter. But, more than that, I like to see a fighter who can be the Republicans' worst enemy, and not her own worst enemy.

1. It is pathetic. Even more pathetic are her supporters on here who ignore all the evidence. They are
brainwashed.

8. Pathetic are the Obama folks that deny his smear/play the race card/lie campaign - or that those
"left" ideas are per Obama "on the table" to trade for GOP love and changing the atmosphere in DC.

The best part was Obama stopping discussion of his lack of political ability to get left type victories of any size - by play the race card and getting 24/7 discussion of the "race card" - all by using his folks to say they saw racial undertones in comments by Clinton supporters - while he let it boil for a few weeks until he finally said the Clintons were not racists (not noting anything they had accomplished for blacks - like better jobs/income) but then claiming Hillary should be faulted for lack of control of all who support her - only 4 weeks later when he unleashed a few slurs/smears via supporters he claimed it was silly to assume anyone could control their supporters.

The walk on water sale via a GOP organizations/corporate media that has had its emails explaining its support of Obama as an attempt to get the weaker candidate printed on DU many times seems to work well with the men that are afraid of a women in authority.

2. Her campaign jumped the shark with this one.
The Islam-o-phobes were not going to vote for her anyway. Who does this appeal to on the Dem side?

She's really stepped in it. But I don't see this covered on the teevee... yet.

4. She's trying to ruin the general election for him

If she can't win, no one can't. She's going to take him down with her (so she thinks).
She's spiteful.

I'm not sure I agree w/you, but think they are in chaos, and have decided to 'nuke' him with whatever they have, no matter how pathetic.

13. these people are drunk on their own hubris and
self-importance. And absolutely tone-deaf to the kind of communication that voters respond to.

3. The Clintons DO seem to be tossing grenades straight up and awful lot, don't they?

But I think TODAY's story is as much a GOP creation as anything..... Hillary's people are just the fortunate recipient's of it.

6. You should have started at the beginning of her career.
"She tried to fix health care and it blew up in her face so bad that no one attempted it for the last 15 years."

11. What I Don't Understand About her Attacks
Is who she's addressing them to. Many of them are the sort of attacks I'd expect from the right. Does Hillary think she's going to pick up cross over Republicans or something? Is showing Obama dressed as a Muslim really going to chase Democrats away from him? The whole point of going negative is that you believe that there's something to be gained for it. The Muslim tactic, the the anti-hope tactic, the getting in front of a camera ranting tactic...what Democrat is going to change ponies over something like that?

The ranting is what I find particularly strange. I know Hillary is a smart women so I wonder if she's just listening to bad advice or something, because being pegged as the "anti-hope" candidate...well that ain't so smart.

17. Hillary's campaign is being managed by a Republican firm.
Look no further than her vaunted ability to lead and manage. They've run the campaign into the ground and gave her bad advice, which she apparently can't understand to be bad advice.

20. Another troubling aspect of it all is that she is not being herself.
She is reading lines and acting the part as instructed by her advisers. She looks foolish and unconvincing making these faux outrage outbursts, which are so obviously staged.

If she would just be herself, she would probably do a lot better. But she is taking bad advice and looks like a damn fool, proving herself to not be presidential material.
