Check in if you're absolutely fucking DONE with Hillary Clinton!
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 11:43 AM by Unsane
She knows she can't win. Her gameplan now is to smear Obama SO much that he will likely lose the GE. Shame on her; makes me sick. She wants a crippled Dem nominee so he'll lose and she remains viable for '12. It's about POWER, folks. I will NEVER vote for Hillary Clinton after today.

1. Guess her hope is to run again in 2012.
You stay classy, Hillary.

This is the second little "gem" that the Clinton campaign has offered the right this week alone.

2. You can easily say that he's testing him and getting him ready to face the General
Election.

Everything that comes up now will be done by the GOP ten times worse.

Get used to it.

The Obama Bubble will face plenty of pins in the coming months.

I think Hillary will do whatever she thinks it takes to win, no matter how dirty she has to play. But I think she justifies it by believing that she is the only one who can lead the country so that the end justifies the means.

16. I do hope the Clinton Campaign hammer's out the message
that Obama is not a viable Presidential Candidate at this time of his young political career. He lacks the necessary knowledge, skills and inside imbedded network to function in D.C and definitely within the world. He is a good man who has begun to believe his hype....We do not want a weak President at this critical domestic crisis nor one who needs on the job training. No window for orientation will given to him by any world leader or republican Congress members and/or remaining bushies in theBeltway.

Yes, Hillary do open the eyes of the mystified following of young Obama.

The media says he's like teflon, nothing ever sticks. But we all have heard of the teflon flu, haven't we? In all my years of voting, I have never seen so many "flock" to a candidate without being able to describe any concrete reasoning behind their choice. I think it has something to do with Tony Robbins and/or NLP training. When people come off their Obama high and find out he has nothing original to say, we're all in trouble!

Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 11:23 AM by jackson_dem
She is done as a presidential prospect if she loses this year, unless she somehow gets on the ticket as veep. If she couldn't win this time with all the advantages she started the race with it is hard to see her being taken seriously as a top-tier candidate ever again. What she is trying to do is what Obama has been trying to do since he began attacking her on the second day of his campaign: win the nomination.

What is with the warped views folks have of Hillary among the far left and far right? :eyes: Has any Obamite heard of any campaign pre-Obama? Guess who came up with Willie Horton? It wasn't Bush and Atwater at first. It was the biggest saint on DU (not Edwards if you are thinking of him. Think of someone who didn't run)...

Obama's younger so he doesn't have as much corruption under his belt. So forget that part for now, look at his Religion from his 2006 Income disclosure... I would have expected him to write down that his religion was "Christian" not "Trinity United Church of Christ"! Go check it out, you might be surprised! Look at his flip-flop speeches--he is just telling people what they want to hear and the message changes depending what state he's in. The sad part is people are buying it!

25. I disagree. They're not trying to damage him for the GE, they're trying to damage him for the
Nomination. There's a difference.

Hillary knows she can't mathematically win. She and her minions have repeatedly said they will count on the Super Delegates to PICK the nominee who will do best in the GE against McCain. If, with her barrage of personal destruction against Obama, she damages him enough to make the "party elders" think he CANT win against McCain, she will make the case that the nomination be thrown to her.. despite the fact that he is the clear choice and frontrunner.

This is what she's been planning all along. Scorched earth politics.. win at any cost. She still thinks she'll get the nomination if she destroys him before the convention.

Howard Dean and the party need to step in. Enough is enough. Once again, she has played the wrong hand. The country does not want this.

If they don't find a way to stop her NOW, then they have lost the huge amount of new and first time voters he has brought into the Party, as well as many older Democratic stalwarts like me. I have NEVER sat out a GE before, but if she is the nominee, I am starting to consider it. She will NOT win in the fall without all these votes. SHe is burning her bridges.

63. I will still vote for the Democratic nominee in November, but you're right: these vile tactics can't
help but disgust the decent among us. I always thought that the serial falsehoods, the smears, the too-cute-by-half racial references were strictly the unchecked excesses of a few of her more rabid supporters, as witness the more boorish HRC boosters around here who routinely indulge in the same.

But no more: such boorishness comes straight from the top, and if not encouraged, is at least tolerated there. She is so blinded by her sense of entitlement that if she can't be the Democratic president in the White House, she believes NO Democrat deserves to be in the White House.

She has a last chance to keep my respect which is to stop this act of desperation and support Obama.

I will not say just yet that I will never vote for her again. I want to give her a chance to clean up before 2012.

However I have limits and I am almost to the point (1-3 or so more days of this desperation in her camp) of admitting Clinton can never be trusted again and stating that I will NEVER vote for her.

69. If she thinks she will EVER get the black votes back by
going this way then she is WRONG! No amount of butt-kissing from Bill Clinton will ever repair the damage to her career if she keeps trying to smear Obama. It is one thing if he loses fair and square. But quite another to deliberately set out to destroy a candidate person. She is not picking on policy she is going after him as a person. I have a feeling she will really regret what she started on Saturday.

What a despicable excuse of a politician she is. I would vote for SATAN before I cast a vote for Hillary (at least Satan wouldn't be able to get his agenda through Congress). For Hillary, it's all about HER assuming the throne of power and damn anyone who dares to challenge her.

What a breath of fresh air Obama brings to politics. I'd walk over burning coals to vote him (and against Hillary).

Come on Hillarybots, there's plenty of room on the Obama bandwagon. Everybody slide down . . .

She will never crawl out of the mudpit she is wallowing in now. She will forever bear the stains.

She is finished as a dem leader of any kind. She is beneath contempt for using Reich wing hate sites to further her own election.

I need to take a shower after every newscast detailing the latest Hillary outrage.

She has set back the cause of electing a woman president by 50 years or so I bet.

Her manic screaming of SHAME ON YOU BARACK OBAMA is the most un-presidential behavior imaginable.

Her mocking of the hopes and dreams of so many young americans is sickening in the extreme.

The race baiting in SC and the passing of a picture to a right wing organ of Obama meant to stir up racial and religious hate and fear is so far beyond the pale of human decency.

HAVE YOU NO SHAME HILLARY CLINTON???

I sometimes wonder if the supporters for one candidate will be able to 'hold their nose' and vote for the nominee! Now that Nader is running, am pretty sure he has lost a lot of credibility, but America cannot afford the like of McCain. Please you all, a Democrat in the WH is what the world is rooting for.
