Why I will support the nominee NO MATTER WHAT.
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 11:53 AM by redqueen
I have children.

In my opinion any Dem will do more for the environment, and for fairness (SCOTUS) than any repuke.

Simple.

1. Well Said.
The only other thing I would've said myself is that "and I'm also not a selfish closed minded jackass".

7. Me too
Even though some of Clinton's campaign tactics have made me ill, I can't imagine I won't suck it up and vote for her, because I care too much about this country and I still think she'd be a much better president than McCain.

I work for the labor movement, and our members simply cannot afford four more years of Bush-like policies, and McCain is no better than Bush on most of the issues that affect our members.

16. I have standards. Sorry.
If my standards condemn me to a Republican hell, so be it. I'm not going to vote for Clinton. She has violated my standards REPEATEDLY now.

32. Your standards are... no global climate intiatives
a roll back of Roe v. Wade,
no attempt, even, on universal healthcare
more warwarwarwar - the only the the repukes know to do
more fearfearfearfear- see above

your standards are so low, apparently, that you don't give a shit if you enable fascists. nice standards you got there.

14. The democrats don't have the vision or will to do anything but slow our eventual destruction
but at least they don't run at it with wild abandon like the republicans, so I'm with you.

25. Look at it this way -
It's a good way to expand the "Ignore" list.

I check mine once a week now and find that a percentage of those who found their way there have also received granite pizza's.

31. AMEN
I *understand* why some people in 2000 voted for Nader but even for all their idealism they have to admit that their nihilism condemned us to Bush. Anyone saying "my candidate or nothing" need to grow up and admit that anything less than each of us showing up and voting Dem in November runs a very real risk of condemning us to McCain.
