I'm reminded of abortion protesters.
The ones that set up big full color posters of aborted fetuses in public places. They think they're being clever when they do that. They think they've hit on some sort of rhetorical jackpot. You could probably tell them that all they're doing is offending people, that they're driving undecided people away, and that they're making fools of themselves. But I suspect it'd just go in one ear and out the other.

A federal judge used the two word phrase "breathtaking innanity" to describe Creationists in a case on teaching evolution in schools. Forget about "silly season." It's "breathtaking innanity" season.

1. Everyone's seen those pictures before, though...
so it's not their fault. Really. No big deal. Why get upset over that?
