SETTLE DOWN, people....jeez! gone a few days and THIS?
the only thing Obama has been guilty of lately is beating Hillary Clinton. That is all. He may be answering her charges with counterpoints, but he really isn't going after her in the gutter style of politics the Clintons injected into the race since South Carolina.

Clinton doesn't have a fresh approach or fresh ideas or better people. She's falling apart and so is her campaign. Don't take your anger about backing someone who is losing out on the rest of us. People who supported Biden and Edwards seem to have moved on. Maybe it's time you HIllary lovers did the same.

It's all over but the celebrating here soon. Obama did nothing to damage his case in last Tuesday's debate. She didn't do enough to slow his momentum.

When I look at her "I'm proud to be on this stage with Obama" schtick at the debate and her "Shame ON YOU, OBAMA! you hurt my feelers by bringing facts and truth about my record up." I just cant' help but think she sounds mentally under duress and flailing.

Give up now, Hillary. You put up a good fight. But it's over.

1. Really. And to think what he Could use against her and he doesn't
Like to bullshit that she has tons and tons of experience. Every article I've read shows her legislative accomplishment as close to zilch. In fact, his look better and he's only been there 2 years. It's quite a feat getting done what he did as such a junior senator.

They won't just go away. In fact, bet a million they'll be working behind the scenes to get McCain in so she has a chance in 2012.

2. you bring up a very good point. ever since 2004
when it seemed Bill was WAY LESS involved and helpful than he could have been for Kerry, many on here surmised it was because he was holding his breath for a tight Bush victory so he could help her run in 08.

It needs to be about America--not about the Clintons.

7. Bill Clinton did exactly what the Kerry people asked of him
shall I repeat that? Bill Clinton did exactly what the Kerry people asked of him.

how about again?

Bill Clinton did exactly what the Kerry people asked of him

'many on here surmised' what utter bullshit. you can't link to a single post from 2004 saying that. not one. or can you?

so let me repeat myself: Bill Clinton did exactly what the Kerry people asked of him

or do you have some sort of evidence for your slander?

8. well, I don't save posts from years back
so maybe someone else will be able to recall things along those lines. Bill actually criticized those of us in the anti war camp who were making our beliefs and feelings known.

I lost a little respect for BIll when he went that route.

3. Gender stereotype warning: She's acting like she has PMS
even though I know she's too old for that ... It's sad but she's turning into the caricature that the right has made of her for the past 15 years. Callers on talk radio are saying she went "Sister Mary Elephant" in that little tantrum. If you want to be Commander-in-Chief, you can't behave like an angry schoolmarm when confronted with adversity. I've heard rumors of both Clintons' tempers but up until this campaign, they've kept them under control. I feel like the curtain has been pulled away and now we're seeing how they REALLY behave in private ...

5. well, maybe not PMS'ing....but she seems like getting different advice
on different days from widely different opinions within her camp. The result makes her look schizophrenic.

12. thank you. I just want to get on to the plan of attack against McCain
because the Dems need to stay laser focused on him.

First order of business--ensuring we are done with having a Clinton or Bush in the WH after 18 years straight.

9. funny- but some see the opposite as yourself-that it is Obama that has the smear/lie gutter campaign
a bit pathetic are the Obama folks to deny Obama's smear CAMPAIGN or that those "left" ideas are per Obama "on the table" to trade for GOP love and changing the atmosphere in DC.

The best part of Obama's campaign was Obama stopping discussion of his lack of political ability to get left type victories of any size - just by playing the race card and getting 24/7 discussion of the "race card" - all by using his folks to say they saw racial undertones in comments by Clinton supporters - while he let it boil for a few weeks until he finally said the Clintons were not racists (not noting anything they had accomplished for blacks - like better jobs/income) but then claiming Hillary should be faulted for lack of control of all who support her - only 4 weeks later when he unleashed a few slurs/smears via supporters he claimed it was silly to assume anyone could control their supporters.

The walk on water sale via a GOP organizations/corporate media that has had its emails explaining its support of Obama as an attempt to get the weaker candidate printed on DU many times seems to work well with the men that are afraid of a women in authority.

Here is a link to a conservative blog that contains a photo of the page from the February 4th 2008 National Enquirer smear story about Barack Obama that contained the picture of him in traditional African garb:

http://sweetness-light.com/archive/obama-wore-muslim-ge ...

The story was titled:

"Obama's Shocking Al Qaeda Link"

Here are the circulation figures that the National Enquirer releases about their rag:

"Place a classified ad in the National Enquirer. This weekly tabloid has excellent circulation at 2,760,000. Ad is placed in the classified area of the magazine under the appropriate category. Certain restrictions apply, and ads must meet the approval requirements of the National Enquirer. Circulation: 2,760,000."

10. I just think you're not seeing this realistically
the only argument you have is to say the media didn't focus on Obama's weaknesses like they should have. To say Obama played the race card??!! Please. He studiously avoided it in all of the emails, speeches, etc. I ever say or heard.

11. studiously avoided the race card"-as if-or I guess you are unaware of the media PRs put out by Obama

and his "uncontrollable" supporters - over manufactured/pretend hurt over Hillary supporters comments that had to be stretched to be seen as racist.

Obama's con job smear/lie/race card campaign disgusts me.

13. here's hoping you either support him
or are in the distinctly tiny minority of Dems who don't support him after he wins the Nomination. We need a Democrat in the White House. He's the only choice left in this race if we don't want a Republican.
