Nader won .03 percent of the vote last time around
So does he think he has a chance? Or is he just doing his final jack-off? I don't think that .03 percent will hurt my man in the GE.

2. Obama ain't worried about Don Quixote, and neither am I.
Nader is fast becoming another Harold Stassen, a good and progressive governor (a Republican at that) that forever became tagged with the "perennial Presidential candidate" label.

3. No, there's no way he can win.
I don't think even Nader himself holds any delusions that he could possibly win. I think he's just trying to make a point and possibly be the spoiler candidate again. Definitely look for the GOP to try to prop him up though, especially if the Dem candidate ends up leading in the GE polls over McCain by a narrow margin.

4. yes but also Obama supporters were claiming he wouldn't run
if Obama was the nominee, that Nader would only run if Hillary was the nominee, they turned out to be wrong about that if Obama wins which is looking likely.

11. For Nader it never mattered
Ralph runs because he's tired of not getting any attention. I only wish I had a few of the dollars he's about to flush down the toilet again this time around, I could put it to some good use.

Ralph Nader has become a total waste of time and has forever ruined what could have been a decent legacy.

I think he needs a little mental intervention, maybe Britney's dad could take over his finances?

5. I think Ralphie is on the take
It's the only logical reason for him to run again.

6. And yet, for some reason, Democrats consider him the Source Of All Evil
If his influence was so small, why does everyone blame Nader for the losses in 2000 and 2004?

13. In all fairness, his influence wasn't always that small.
He may have won only 0.38% of the popular vote in 2004, but he won 2.71% of the popular vote in 2000. And although that percentage is very small, when that percentage is still greater than the margin of victory between the two leading candidates, the effect can be much greater since electoral votes are assigned on a statewide winner-take-all basis in almost all states.

9. Nader could challenge the Democrats
since Obama is so polarizing and republican-independent voter may find Nader the best alternative.
