On the one hand we have Edwards (a real man). On the other we have that piece of crap, Nader.
One (Edwards) is brave, works hard, is constructive and thinks of solutions, never ceases to mention the least among us, and doesn't sell the country to the dogs. The other one (Nader) is a sleazy liar, an egocentric @$$hole who accepts money from Republicans, and doesn't give a rat's ass how he hurt the weakest in our country.

2. I'm equally repulsed by Nader's actions in recent years
but let's remember all the good things he accomplished over many years. He seems strangely eager to make us all forget, but I still remember.

5. I'm afraid you're kinder than I am. I got over the Corvair thing long ago.
Now I'm looking at the evil this asshole is causing to the most helpless people in this country by accepting Repuke money and running to get Repukes elected.

8. Can't argue with your last point at all
I don't understand why he did this 8 years ago. To repeat the stunt 4 years, then 8 years later is insanity. I never considered this guy an egotist really, but I can't think of any other explanation for this stupid attraction he's developed for electoral politics. If it isn't ego, I'm totally mystified.

9. No I think he's out to hurt Democrats. He doesn't really care a rat's ass about the helpless....
... he's just out to hurt the Democrats for not doing what he wants done. So he's going to hurt us, but in reality the ones he's really been hurting are the most helpless people in this country. He's a waste of good oxygen, really.

10. One co-sponsored the IWR. One willingly threw the election to Bush.

11. Nearly everyone cosponsored the IWR. How many plotted to give Bush the election because he is
an egotistical asshole who is angry that Democrats won't do what he says?

12. The majority of Democrats in Congress voted against it. Nader is worse, but both Edwards
and Nader had their part to play in the creation of the Iraq War.

13. How could you EVEN say that, when there would be NO IRAQ WAR without Bush and Nader put him there?
I hate it when people try to bs me for no reason at all.

I'll say to you what Judge Judy is fond of saying, "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining."

14. Edwards' part is much smaller than Nader's, and Nader's smaller than Bush's. But Edwards
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 09:34 PM by Occam Bandage
was one of a minority of Democrats to vote in favor of the Iraq War Resolution--and he was one of a handful of sponsors of Lieberman's version of the text. Don't pretend he wasn't a contributing factor.
