Clinton Blasts Obama's Foreign Policy Readiness
Hoping to regain some momentum from perhaps her strongest political asset, her perceived experience, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., delivered a foreign policy speech in Washington, D.C., this afternoon that assailed rival Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., as unwise, inexperienced, impulsive and indecisive — in short, a risk to the nation.

<snip>

To a packed auditorium at George Washington University, Clinton seemed to imply Obama's lack of foreign policy credentials might mean he'd be a Democratic version of President Bush.

"We've seen the tragic result of having a president who had neither the experience nor the wisdom to manage our foreign policy and safeguard our national security," she said. "We can't let that happen again."

Clinton also mocked Obama by implication suggesting he would need a manual to understand the complexities of foreign diplomacy.

If Clinton wants to compare positions or experience, that's fine with me. But no Democrat should be comparing any other Democrat to GWB, and this is not the first time she has done this. And the mocking is just unnecessary and makes her look small.

5. You're right...
Mockers are almost always covering up their own insecuries ~ and people sense it.

6. Clinton has no more relevent experience then Obama.
The experience she does have is that of a washington insider....we don't want it, we don't need it.

7. Her comparing him to GWB is SICK. And it will backfire. What the hell is wrong with her?
She gets great reviews for being "gracious" and she does a 180 and goes to anger and sarcasm. Shes doing the opposite of what ppl liked about her during the debate. Hillary take a cue from her critics and be more warm, gracious, push that you're a fighter, give ppl a reason to vote for you not against Obama.

8. Sort of absurd to blast Bush when she enabled him...

Her "experience" pales when held up to Obama's superior judgment in reference to the war. He also shines when he speaks about changing the mindset that got us into this mess ~ smart people know that you can't solve problems with the same thinking that created them.

9. Well, she IS small.
Small in accomplishments, small in character, small in judgement, small in courage.

She has been demonstrating that over and over again.

10. Well, she would be better than John "I hate gooks" McCain
But Obama has been exactly right on Iraq and Pakistan. And she wasn't.

And she's already pissed off Putin, possessor of the world's largest nuclear arsenal after ours. So no, I'm not impressed with her foreign policy acumen.

12. Hillary's foreign policy, for want of a better word:
1) Obama is "irresponsible and frankly naive"....because....Obama said he would negotiate even with our enemies

2) Obama is wrong to say that he would rule out nuclear weapons against Pakistan

3) Obama is wrong to say he would act if actionable intelligence said that terrorists who did 9/11 were in Pakistan and Musshafiff would not act (in spite of saying the opposite last year)

4) Supported the IWR

5) Never apologized for the iWr or even said it was the wrong thing to do.

Hey...just a question....has Hillary ever said, like Obama, that she would close Guantanamo?
