17. I agree
If she ends up back in the senate, she'll be a staunch democrat looking out for New York. Nothing wrong with that.

Not really fond of the direction her candidacy has taken. But that's just a personal opinion.

42. The race card was played by the media and Obama just stood by and let it happen!!!
I'm sick and tired of the Clintons being accused of race baiting because a) Bill called Obama's stance on his Iraq vote a "fairy tale" and b) Hillary's comment that MLK's dreams became a reality when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Since when is questioning an opponent on an issue and calling it a fairy tale a racist remark???? Since when is making a historically accurate comment considered racist???

As for Bill responding to a reporter's question about SC by mentioning that Jesse Jackson had won it twice in the 80s, how is that racist??? Rev. Jackson DID win SC twice in the 80s. Oh yeah, he was supposedly using some mysterious "code" words.

I find it much more racist when 80% to 90% of a group of people vote for a candidate due to having a similar skin tone. It's just as disturbing as if the same percentage of women voted for Hillary or of whites for McCain.

The Lord forgive those who dare to question Obama, but it's perfectly OK if the media, et al. say the most vile, sexist crap about Hillary.

Whatever..........

:grr:

24. Do you mind if I require more than your word on this?
If you're talking about the pictures, your opinion notwithstanding, there's no evidence she or her campaign had any role in distributing those entirely unobjectionable pictures. Spend 7 or 8 hours and reread all the posts here.

More pertinent, you're accusing her of being racist and are exhibiting invincible ignorance about her decades long record of opposing racism.

Oh, but you know that already don't you.

Then you're simply a dishonest and tedious shill.

49. It is morally correct. Substantial cooperation with evil is as bad as the original evil.
What is intellectually dishonest is to say one candidate is better than another because he didn't vote for the IWR. The truth is he didn't vote for it because he didn't have a chance to. His subsequent voting record, including the funding, indicates he would have joined the rest of them in that vote.

52. There are two different environments. One is without war and the other with war.
In the environment without war Hillary voted for it while Obama attended and spoke at an anti-war rally. As the public mood at this time was belicose, it is clear that Obama was taking a more principled position, But, wtf, lets give points Obama 1- Hillary 0

Subsequent funding is more complicated, because there is no guarantee that cutting funding would end the war. Bush would be very unlikely to just bring hope the troops. But if you want to issue points, this round 0-0 Running score Obama 1 Hillary 0

However the whole issue of having to vote for funding or not would be moot if people like Hillary had not collaborated with Bush in the first place. So fuck her.

I campaigned for her in 2000. I campaigned against her in 2006. I was greatly, greatly disappointed by her Senate votes, especially, of course, the Iraq vote. I will never support her for anything ever again.

I've abhorred the Clintons since 1992, when they lied their way to the White House. As Bob Kerrey said, Bill's "an unusually good liar." Fortunately, his lying skills seem to have plummeted - now his just a crappy liar, as is his wife.

44. Might as well, the all so perfect Democrats on this board
don't have any more use for the Clintons nor their supporters because we don't pass their purity test. Let's forget that Bill is the only Dem. to win two terms since FDR. Let's forget that he still remains very popular. Let's forget that if one counts MI & FL, Hillary has won the votes of 9 million people. Fuck all that, we are not needed nor count for anything!!!

Therefore, vote for whomever you consider the lesser evil. Hmmm, Nader anybody???

34. I'm Proud Of Hillary. She's Up Against A Perfect Storm Here, And She's Fighting Best She Can.
Not for a second do I consider her to not be one of the 'good guys'. I'm proud of her and see no reason to not be, despite some flaws to her as of late. But she wants this so badly, yet is up against this perfect storm that's whirling around her. I admire her courage to stay in the ring and do her best to fight, even though day by day it seems to be more futile. She's fighting with whatever she has left right now, and I admire any Dem that does so. In the end, it is all but certain she will go down. But she'll at least go down fighting, as she should. I'm sad for her, but still excited for our party. No matter what happens, we'll have a great candidate in November. In fact, I'm still crossing my fingers with all my might that they run together, because I think it will be the only GE tagteam that I would ever stand up and readily declare to be a GUARANTEED VICTORY.
