I have been busy today and have not had time to read up and probably won't have time to read up. Can someone point me to this picture everyone is talking about. Something to do with Obama and African traditional clothing? I'd like to see it. I'm sure it's no big deal, right? Or is it? What's the controversy. Please, fill me in.

I checked the links and saw the picture. I don't see what the big to-do is about the picture itself. To me, that would be no different than me wearing my moccasin boots.

So, I take it the controversy comes from the fact that Drudge said it was from a Clinton campaign staffer?

I don't see any controversy in the picture at all. I guess it was Drudge's claim it was sent by a staffer on the Clinton campaign. Has anyone proved that yet or is he still refusing to cough up any names?

8. The Clinton campaign said something to the effect that

they didn't do it from the campaign but that there is no way of knowing if some lower level staffer might have done it without authorization. It seemed to be a non-denial denial by some and that is when GDP erupted. People are getting very sensitive now and any little thing is setting off strong feelings. You were lucky not to be here today. It was impossible to have an intelligent discussion about anything. I did enjoy this somewhat whimsical thread
