Matthews, Carney: Obama's HealthCare Plan GOP Leaning

I have been asking over and over at DU---Obama says No Mandates on
Healthcare Insurance.
McCain says NO Mandates on HCI. McConnell and GOP senators say No
mandate on HCI and Boehner and House Republicans say No Mandates
on HCI. I found it most interesting. Yesterday I got an answer.

Carney: Obama believes he has to have GOP support for HCI so he
deliberately left off Mandates.

If we get lots of new Democrats in House and Senate, would we not
have a mandate for a Democratic Plan?????

While I understand his position, I say why appease them before
we even begin negotiations. Could you not use the mandate issue
to get something very signiicant.

Who said the GOP are not still in control?????

Why do you think he wins 70-75 rethug support in "Democratic" primaries? It isn't because they jettisoned the reasons they became rethugs in the first place because Axlerod said ****"Hope and Change"****...
