Rupert Murdoch Loves Hillary Clinton
Conservative Media Mogul To Host Fundraiser For Liberal N.Y. Senator

(CBS) To call them a political odd couple would be a rash understatement.

Conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch will host a fundraiser for liberal New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, the Financial Times reports.

The mating ritual of the unlikely allies has been under way for months. Clinton set political tongues to wagging last month by attending a Washington party celebrating the 10th anniversary of Fox News, the cable news channel owned by Murdoch.

3. How many of Hillary's folks know that she takes money
from FOX? It is amazing that she can do that and still be a credible Democratic candidate. I don't understand this.

4. Didn't Murdoch support Hillary when she ran for Senate?
Then, if Hillary is Murdoch's candidate I won't vote for her, or for anyone Murdoch supported.

16. Obama took money from the President of News Corp.
I don't hold it against him, just like I don't hold it against Clinton that she got money from Murdoch. ANd I don't regard it as a point in McCain's favor that neither Murdoch or the president of News Corp have given him any money.

Your basic much ado about nothing.

He has given tens of thousands of dollars to both the party and candidates over the years.

19. I know that. But around here, working for Murdoch is the same as being Murdoch
And accepting money from Murdoch is the same as being Murdoch etc etc etc.

The point is that it makes no sense to oppose HRC because she got money from Murdoch any more than it would make sense to support McCain because he didn't (yet).

14. so, since Murdoch hasn't given to McCain, should I be supporting McCain
Heck, Peter Chernin, the president of News Corp. gave to both Clinton and Obama, but not to McCain. So I better get those Johnny-on-the-spot bumper stickers on my car, eh?
