why is it that most of the lesbian community seems to support Hillary Clinton? Am I wrong about this? I see a lot of the Clinton defenders and supporters here with rainbows in their sig pics-is Obama seen as anti-gay or something?

5. Obama asked Gavin Newsom to campaign for him in S.F., but asked him to

...step out of his photo op (so as not to be associated with a major who had a "gay" agenda). Newsom ended up supporting Clinton.

Obama enlisted an anti-gay gospel singer (one also used by Bush) for his tent meetings/campaigns in South Caroline, but when this was noted, also invited a black gay preacher along. There's a lot of homophobia in the black community, but I'm sure Obama hopes this is not the case.

There are a lot of women who have been active in politics for decades who are proud to have a qualified woman candidate. I'm sure that Obama has some appeal to those with African heritage.

6. You are right - the lesbian community does support Hillary.

We know who she is. And, yes, we see Obama as not "gay friendly". The McClurkin problem among other issue.

At the end of the day we know we are in her heart and we have been all of her adult life. I know this personally.

I honestly think Obama is homophobic but others don't. Perhaps because I am older the signals are more easily read. That is both a good and a bad thing.
