2. Reminder: Bush won. Celebrating a winner for the sake of winning is stupid.
Might doesn't always make right.

21. That Obama's campaign has truly been historic in terms of changing the popular vote
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 02:56 PM by I Vote In Pittsburgh
Remember that Clinton, at one point, was up by 20 points in virtually all states.

Also, that the media's portrayal of this as a back and forwards contest is wrong.

I admire your stalwart support of Clinton! It shows true strength of character to believe in a cause and stick with it.

24. If Obama has revolutionized the voting process why does he need superdelegates
to get the nomination? Hillary is not far behind.

25. I'm not convinced he's revolutionized the voting process
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 03:17 PM by I Vote In Pittsburgh
He may have, however, by causing a record number of young voters to vote. However, I said that his come from behind victory is historic, and I did not say it revolutonized anything. I am not backtracking here, just restating my initial claim.

Anyways, I guess you are asking how it can be historic if it is such a close race. And, you state that it is close because he needs superdelegates to win. Actually, this is true, it is a somewhat close race and he does need superdelegates to win. However, it is still very probable that he will get the nomination, and I'm pretty sure no democrat has ever come from so far behind in public opinion to win the nomination. Therefore, it is historic!

Thanks for clarifying!

Obama won Iowa.

Lost New Hampshire.

Squeaker win in Nevada.

Landslide in SC.

Won Super Tuesday.

Landslides ever since.

5. Both got 9 pledged delegates from NH
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 02:44 PM by I Vote In Pittsburgh
Despite the media's attempt to portray it as a "Comeback Kid" moment for Clinton, it was a tie in terms of pledged delegates gained.

6. Actually, the delegate count in NH is 9 and 9.
Despite Hillary's win in the vote count, they both got the same amount of pledged delegates.
