We have got to stop this insanity (and yes I raise my hand and say I have been guilty of it too).

We CANNOT continue to go for each other's throats between now and however the hell long this process takes.

All this Hillary is horrible, Obama is hateful, wah, wah wah is certainly not helping. We are losing sight of our common goals.

I know we sometimes have a tendency to lash out at each other when we are passionate about our beliefs....but let's face it......we aren't going to convince one another to come vote for our respective candidate at this point and the negativity is (I think) beginning to get to many if not most of us.

Can we at least TRY and make an effort to be civilized to one another occasionally? Some here seem to be able to do it ...........can we make the effort to unite.........if not behind one candidate just yet, can we unite behind our ability to be diverse and agree to disagree?

I'll pledge to try and stop the insanity if you will.

If anyone is dense enough to believe that McCain would be a better President than either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama, then by all means leave. We don't need that kind of hostile attitude here. I actually favored Kucinich first, and then Edwards, but I'm not going to pout, grab my marbles and leave in a snit (a small foreign made car).

I happen to think either would make a decent Chief Executive. I'm supporting Obama because I think he has a better chance of winning in November and a firmer stance on Iraq, but I don't hate Ms. Clinton, not do I hate most of her supporters. I thank you for your OP. Personally, I feel that if we ever saw each other in the street or over a nice meal somewhere, we'd like each other very much and have 90% of things in common at least on a political level.

We play right into the newer tendency to demonize those who may disagree with you over the old school style of having a civil discussion politically. Being in our virtual anonymity, we can sometimes veer off where we would never go in real life.

The cheap shots that all sides take on each other are unfortunate. I wish we could self-filter our outbursts or perhaps react to someone having a tantrum with a little more humor and a lot less venom.

These next weeks will be quite interesting to see what happens. That said, we all have a lot more in common than not. For those few that get under my skin, I'll just try to use Hide and Ignore more...at least until the dust settles.
