CNN is really trying to soften up Obama for Hillary tonight.
right now that braying jockass radio guy screaming Barrack Hussein Obama over and over. Early on they said that Hillary has been so criticised in the media while Obama has been getting away from it with being so popular - so they had to list everything from Rezko to who knows what - no details of course, just the some people say shit.

13. Hmm...where have we heard that before?
"Clinton News Network." Oh yes. An old RW characterization from the '90s, repeated again and again by the likes of Drudge, Michele Malkin, etc. etc.

It's amazing how many wingnut talking points are being repeated approvingly here.

26. The era of big government is over
Amazing how many right with talking points and policy programs we've seen from Bill and Hillary over the years. Time to move on.

8. she embarrasses herself and gets the attention.
what is so surprising about that.
and let's not forget how fawned over she was last fall - the inevitable glowing one.

there isn't much to tear down Obama with because he conducts himself with respect, for himself and others, so now they are starting to use the Clinton's talking points list.

4. It all sucks
The media beating up an Hillary AND Obama ... the playing of favorites, and the playing of loyalties ... it's all shit.

The irony is that the candidates have been very low-key in their attacks; even the recent stuff from Hillary is more smoke than fire.

The surrogates are nasty, but the press is absolutely evil about this.

7. I don't believe that they have been soft on Obama by any stretch.......
because had Obama come in third in Iowa, he would not have been heard from again.

The media has also let slide this 35 years of experience......although I have yet to see a comprehensive list of what all of this experience is about. Hillary with no National Security Clearance or sitting on NS meeting "thinks" she knows stuff....but didn't know enough to know that Iraq was not an imminent threat. Do they push that view? Hell Naw!

and in fact, Folks still don't know what Obama has accomplished (and it is plenty) because the Media won't tell folks.

But any excuse is a good one for them, I guess.

17. the knives will be out for Obama tonight, from all sides.
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 05:27 PM by Whisp
those two 'moderators' (ha!) will pile on, and pre-debate will have all sorts of 'nice' hillary spots and more 'questions' about Obama to set the tone for the ambush.

Hillary will be poking Obama with every sharp stick she thinks she has and he will react as usual, cool and unaffected by the bait and turn the debate around to the issues instead of her pointy fluffs, and that will drive her even crazier. She wants him to lose it, that's the only thing she has going for her now, if Barack does something completely out of character in this debate.

but that dude is as cool as you can get in this mud wrestling arena of politics, and is well prepared not to give her what she so desires.

25. I agree.
But I see Obama as the stronger candidate in fall election.
I still like Hillary too and if you get a Hillary/Obama ticket, that would be just wonderful.
You guys should win the election, just because the Republican party is in such a mess at this time.

15. nah. he's very, very deft at handling stuff- unlike hilly who blows
every opportunity. And the press has been trying the past couple of weeks to rough him up. They'll try harder, but unlike the disasterous hilly, he knows how to deal with it. thank god she won't be the nominee. Only hilly comes off as less likable than McCain.

16. Did he explain that "Hussein" means "anti-Christ" on the planet Nebulon?
I believe the name Hussein literally translated means "handsome" or "small handsome one" and is also used in certain areas of the Middle East to denote royal status (in Jordan) and in other areas that a person is prominent in their community.

He has a way of over-simplifying positions so it looks like the Clinton spin is true.

And they keep saying that everyone thinks the two are the "dream ticket". Huh?
Every time they say that, my gag reflexes almost act up. Btw, what time is that
debate? I'm having a glass of wine to temper myself. I get so aggravated by HRC,
that I go and donate large sums (well, in my book, large sums) of money to Obama.
That happen to anyone else? LOL.

32. yes, wish that 'dream ticket' talk would shut up.
ugh.
and notice how they reports of
'attacking each other' and whatever other descriptions they give to the 'fighting' - makes it sound like Obama is at the bottom of the slew in his conduct like Hillary is.
He defends her attacks in a reasonable and adult manner, yet is an equal force of nasty according to them.

ugh.

debate is on at 8:00 central, not sure.
