NBC/MSNBC's David Gregory joins Craig Crawford as most biased MSNBC HRC supporter
Did you just see him on Hardball? He said that Hillary needs to attack Barack tonight on his wife not being proud of being American until her husband did well, on being all fluff and no substance, on flip flopping positions. All direct quotes.

Gregory has really been in the tank for Clinton since the weekend interlude between the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary but he is really showing it tonight.

Chris Matthews is proving to be biased towards HRC as well, saying "yeah we at MSNBC are going to be the tough ones asking Barack Obama the real questions that he hasn't answered."

Norah O'Donnell has come very close to calling Obama sexist twice now. First over the "feeling down" and now over the "exercised" comment.

All direct quotes.

Those of you who think MSNBC is anti-Hillary are smoking something, IMO.

10. If he's not biased towards HRC, why the blatant...
attack on a candidate's spouse who isn't running?

Even Chris Matthews opposed that.

New Camp Hillary Claim: The Media Want Her To Lose
By Greg Sargent - February 26, 2008, 2:55PM

In recent days, the Hillary campaign has audibly turned up the volume of its attacks not just on Barack Obama, but on the news media, too.

The sight of Hillary advisers attacking the press is suddenly everywhere -- and there's been a shift in the tone of the attacks that is striking. The suggestion is no longer merely that the coverage of Hillary is unfair and that the treatment of Obama is glowing, something that Hillaryland insiders have complained of for a long time.

Rather, the new suggestion is that the press is reveling in Hillary's downfall, and that this lust to see Hillary lose is driving coverage.

Yesterday, for instance, top Hillary adviser Howard Wolfson opined that "every time" the Obama campaign has leveled personal attacks against HIllary, "the press has largely applauded him." Another key Hillary surrogate, Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, echoed this line, saying that the media has "relished" Hillary's "fall" with "glee."

Same with Craig Crawford. These guys have no insight because they're so out of touch with what's actually going on in this country.

I WILL never look at David Gregory the same again. I used to respect him. Now--not so much. I find myself stifling a laugh every time he's on camera. He's no longer a serious journalist as far as I'm concerned.

14. I agree with that. I was disappointed to hear Gregory say all that.
MSNBC has been browbeaten by the Clinton campaign since the Shuster business.
Keith is the only one that isn't. He used to not say a bad word about the Clintons, but he has seen what has transpired and is reporting truthfully, as opposed to the others.

16. Yep, this is a similar phenomenon as when the media takes on a Republican bias
in order to prove they're not biased towards Democrats.

I'm expecting them to be going after Obama 100% in this debate. I hope he's ready. It's going to be him against Hillary and the moderators.

His candidacy will be in shreds tonight if Tim Russert decides to go nuclear on him. Russert has a way of pummelling people.

I have no idea why Obama would agree to this debate.

matchup--it's good for defense profits. GE will use MSNBC to achieve its corporate goals. I have no doubt they'll try their last chance to take out Obama. I wish he wouldn't have agreed to this debate--I'm nervous for him.

24. They are biased for McCain, not Clinton
Just look at their coverage last Thursday when the NYT story broke. It was 'defend McCain at all costs' mode.

Matthews, Russert, O'Donnell and others at NBC have long been in the tank for McCain. They built Obama up to get Hillary. Now that it looks like Obama will win the nomination they are turning on him to help McCain. Even Rich and Dowd at the Times are starting to turn on Obama.

Remember, these people earn 7 figure salaries. They will do anything to protect their tax cut.
