If Hillary wins Texas and Ohio, the whole race changes and Obama will be eviscerated in the media
The media will turn on Obama like a scorned lover who finds out the love of their life has been lying to them all along.

You mean after outspending Hillary 3:1, after all your endorsements, after all your charisma and star power and mega rallies where supporters clap when you fucking sneeze, after your supposed invincible grassroots, after the media Fellates you every night and scours your opponent as a loser and has been who should drop out...

You mean you still can't close the deal?

You still can't win a big state?

You still can't beat a badly wounded and beaten Clinton who even you said would quit the race if you were in her position?

What the fuck is wrong with you, Obama?

It'll be 2 months of media evisceration for Obama and he will implode like Dean.

On March 5, she will make it official. Good try to get us going, though. It's just too late to even get worked up by such a post.

Given your bitterness, you might want to stay away from sharp objects on March 5.

26. The onus is on Hillary
SHE has to win, and not by 5 points, but by 15 or, some say, 20. It's got to be 60 - 40 Hillary in both states, plus wins in those other two insignificant states or the delegate math is just not in her favor.

It's about delegate.

It's always been about the delegates.

so she has to try to drag in MI and FL.

I figure she's waiting for the Rezko case to sink Obama, that's her only hope at this point, even if she does win TX, OH, and PA.

You have served your candidate well here on DU. I think you are one of the most diligent loyal Hillary supporters.
I have never seen you mix it up with nasty comments or insults. You have just plugged along with valiant posts.

I admire you. Having said that I think your scenario falls flat. It is over. The Democratic Party is folding HRC's
tents as we write. In two weeks, I think she will concede. And we will be on to Denver in the summer.
Then we take back the Whitehouse. I hope you join us with your skills and support.

I understand that it may take time to accept your loss. And you may never feel good enough to join us.
That would be understandable. Just know that your contributions here are appreciated even though
we have chosen different candidates.

37. You do realize that your candidate has lost, right?
Even just "winning" TX and OH--which she can't do--wouldn't be enough. She has to win by 20 points to be competitive... which is impossible.

39. You are right - but only if she wins by 20-30 points in both
Particularly Ohio - she need as 30 point win I think.

Obama's average margin of Victory since Super Tuesday is 33 points - so I'm not saying
some unreasonable target.

If she beats him by 15-20 points in Texas, AND
beats him by 30-35 points in Ohio

Then he is in serious trouble.

I just don't think it is that likely.

44. You're Probably Right. But She's Got A Long Way To Go To Win Those States, And She Has To Do So By
at least some respectable margin.

Day by day it seems to slip a bit more. Tonight is a make or break moment in my opinion. It will either stabilize the races in those two states and keep her ahead, or will assist in continuing Obama's momentum in which by the time Tuesday comes around, he might end up winning both. She's got a long way to go yet to respectably win those states. If she does, it will change everything and make the competition far more fierce again. But as of now, she's got some work to do to make sure that happens.

48. Herman, they will not turn on Obama until the general. Hillary might
get a few begrudging pats on the back but they'll renew their efforts to destroy her.

If she wins the nom, they are going to have to scrounge for scandals. They know everyone is sick to death of the old ones. They can't replay them and they know it.

Some heads are gonna roll if Hillary takes the prize. She still has a good chance, barring monstrous Repuke crossover and football-rally-loving college students.
