in 2006 Obama supporter Hart's book said Obama not against school vouchers- and sees corporations as
entitled to more deregulation and "civil" rights

And he noted Obama as being pro coal plants - albeit in the campaign he has added a federally funded "pilot plant to test carbon sequestration" - but Obama does love his Illinois coal mine owners

there has even been discussion (not in the Hart book) about the general idea that Getting GOP love so as to change the atmosphere in DC means none of that left wing stuff is real.

Could those "crossover" votes be real and stay with Obama in the general because some GOPers see McCain as too progressive compared to Obama?

Or has Obama come out against school vouchers when I wasn't looking - or has he made a speech saying there needs to be more regulation of corporations - so far my searches have turned up nothing in these areas.

Does anyone have new info - or do we mark Obama as not against school vouchers and pro-corporate deregulation?

(before anyone screams on the school vouchers I agree Obama has never said he was for them - but when asked repeatedly he has said he is not against them and would have to look at the proposal)
