Tonights debate showed us clearly WHY we are in the situation we are, because of the MEDIA
They pushed the war, were lap dogs for this administration, and propagated one lie after another

They NEVER went after this administration like they are going against OUR nominees

The fourth estate has no integrity, and not only will we need to fight for the DEMOCRATIC nominee, but we will have to fight the distortions of the MSM

1. You're exactly right
I've long said that if we could solve the media problem everything else would get taken care of.

7. It Was On Display In All Its Disgusting Glory Tonight, For Sure.
And it makes me think of one thing and one thing only: Al Gore. The assault on reason. How I wish he was part of all this right now.

8. Damn Right They Pushed The War!! It is folly watching these odd talking heads...
DEMANDING that candidates now answer hypothetical questions of war & war planning after they more than helped, after they failed to ask the pertinent questions when it was most of all their jobs to do so; so they pumped & beat the war drum instead for little more than to kow tow before the bfee, Nielsen ratings, demographics, and most of all...Ad $'s, and their salary base

Disgusting!!

9. And How Did The Debates Wind Up With The Cable News Stations?.........
I liked it before when the debates were sponsored by an organization and they were telecast by all the news networks simultaneously.

How did that change?

MSNBC was promoting the hell out of this one today. "Perhaps the last democratic debate". "Which Hillary will show up tonight".
"Will Obama blow it tonight".

CNN did the same for the last debate.

It's become entertainment - a grand reality show - with commercial breaks. This format sucks.

10. I will say this for Matthews, he has said "I'm sorry I should have questioned harder. We (media) "
didn't press hard enough.
