...only Nuance. Strong on Israel being protected, Health Care, Foreign Policy. Hillary is a little more detailed in going after "Special Interests" and taking away some of the Breaks Bush has given the Corporations...and she would revise Nafta as would Obama.
They were very conciliatory to each other and praised each other in ways that recognized each's service to the Country.
Williams and Russert were very low key compared to their usual antics. They gave each candidate ample time to get their points across and when one wanted to clarify a point they gave time for them to do it and included rebuttals.
A low key rehash, it seems, of the last debate.
There was a lot that wasn't covered about Social Security, Pensions lost due to LBO's and Outsourcing, and our Economy Tanking due to the de-Regulation of our Banking.
But...it was a nice 90 minutes where one could look at the "body language" to discern which candidate you might find nicer looking or more appealing on nuances of policy in their answers, than the other.
It was a fine debate and neither one had a "Gotcha Moment...or a Knockout Punch" that I saw.
What was left out was the "Elephant in the Room" of brewing troubles...but then they agree on so much we gotta figure either one could handle whatever is coming up down the road for us and our Country.
