Obama supporter says that the Farrakhan point....
was weakly stated by Obama and that he should have came out stronger. I understand that he didn't want to be divisive but this one was close to the go line.

But, when Hillary tried to drill down on his point, she seemed petty. Barack was able to reverse this on her which is one of his talents.

I think that she would have beat him hands down in that segment if she would have just kept it closed.

Your thoughts.

2. I'm an Obama supporter, and I don't understand why he didn't say "reject" up front...
But at least he eventually did. Seemed like a strange issue for him to get "particular" about, just use the strongest language you can and reject/denounce/whatever the guy. I think he was just getting caught up in being exact with what word should be used ("Senate-speak") but at least he relented.

3. A public denounciation IS stronger and more specific
than the language Clinton "words don't matter" was insisting on.

4. I think it makes no difference
He clearly DENOUNCED it. He talked about the Jewish community's involvement in the Civil Rights Movement, and even denounced antisemitism at Ebenezer Baptist Church in front of an AA vote. What else could he have said? She wants him to reject his support, which hadn't been offered? She wants him to reject his endorsement, which he categorically DENOUNCED, along with his beliefs. I'm failing to understand what exactly was the issue? He went on and on and said that he has worked with the Jewish community and has Jewish support. Hillary Clinton was just using, yet again, a race and religion wedge to score some points. She is a disgusting individual.

7. Again, as an Obama supporter...
why even argue the point of whether "reject" was an appropriate word to use if "help hadn't been offered" or whatever? Why even both equivocating to any extent? Just go off on the guy and use the strongest language possible when confronted with that question, and put it to rest so follow-ups aren't needed.

9. i think being a jackass is something he avoids
thas why he was careful. I personally prefer people who consider what they say about others before it leaves their mouth.

5. I think what was petty
was when she brought up the SNL skit... again.

And the whole "denounce" "reject" argument is in itself petty; regardless of who is making it.

I thought he gently addressed and by doing so highlighted comparatively her pettiness.

6. She would have done a lot better in this entire campaign
if she had been herself instead of trying to play a right wing nut on TV. I think that's a leftover of the "triangulation" scam that Bill Clinton pulled on the democratic party for 8 years. Hillary is not convincing as bush lite. She ain't "tough" She ain't "ready on day one".

She's a go along to get along centrist who was afraid to oppose the Iraq war resolution because she did not want to be called unpatriotic.

8. "Obama refuses to reject Farrakhan's endorsement" would
have made a nice headline in her favor tomorrow. I am glad she gave him the opportunity to rethink though. We don't need that.
