I was introduced to his campaign, in Iowa--by a group of 40-something, stay-at-home moms
who are in my book club.

I think it's awesome that he attracts younger and new voters--but they are but one faction
that makes up the Obama support.

Obama won in every county in my state of Iowa. He didn't do that by only winning over college
students. Voters of every age and socioeconomic level came out in droves to vote for Obama.
Participation and voting increased 100 percent in our state from 04--which was a record year.

I think it's cool when 20-somethings are involved.

I think the majority of Clinton supporters on this forum are embittered and lashing out.

Way back at the start of this thing (last summer or so) I was highly sympathetic to Hillary.

Much of the way she has conducted her campaign has disgusted me though. As time goes on Obama seems more and more presidential. Anyway I've already voted for him here in TX.

So it's the 20th debate. Positions are well-known. I'm looking for style over substance, who looks and sounds more presidential. Obama blows Clinton away. Here's why:

1- Clinton's annoyance at being asked questions first (Huh?)
2- Clinton's remark about Obama needing a pillow (Huh?)
3- Clinton's ridiculing of Obama's speeches (He laughs it off)
4- Clinton's "outrage" over fliers (standard political fare)
5- Obama's gracious admission that Clinton is well-qualified to be president (Clinton does not reciprocate)
6- Clinton's mis characterization of Obama's statement about bombing Pakistan

No. 6 is the one that sends chills up my spine. This knowing and willful lie to score political points is exactly the nightmare that we have endured from the Bush administration for 7 years. Cannot go there again. Case closed.
