All you other SEXISTS and RACISTS, check in here!
I don't (yet) support Clinton, so apparently I'm a sexist.

I don't (yet) support Obama, so apparently I'm a racist.

I didn't realize that these are the real reasons why I don't (yet) have a favorite candidate. I thought it was because both of them are corporatist "free"-trading repuke-lites.

Any others of you out there?

5. It's one of the ironies of the election year
After our caucuses I ran into a couple of my fellow aging lefties. We had all been Edwards supporters and were in a quandry over what to do now. All of us had caucused uncommitted. What we found strange was that, here we are in a year with both a woman and Black man as real contenders and the candidate who appealed to a good part of the left? - A southern white man. Thirty years ago none of the 3 of us would have believed it.

doesn't it?

(And about Clinton's and Obama's.)

11. I totally agree!
I could never have imagined that in a year that has a black man and a woman as our two primary contenders, I would be so un-enthused. But then, I don't think in my youth that I saw corporations as the evil that I now do. I often wish that candidates were required to wear the same sort of outfits that Nascar drivers wear, with all of their corporate sponsors out there for all to see.

Though some of them would have to gain weight so that their outfit was large enough for all the logos!

24. No, they wouldn't
If all of the logos wouldn't fit, they would be required to wear a train, with troll like creatures all along it, to hold it up for all to see.

I just never expected the Democrats to be in bed with them the way they are now.

And I love your NASCAR uniform idea.

19. I agree, though I was never firmly in the Edwards camp
The Southern white male for me was Gore. I held out hope until the bitter end, and just ended up bitter. :)

But I would have had a much easier time supporting Edwards than either of the 2 we're left with. And if we'd wanted to make history, why not Barbara Boxer, Sheila Jackson Lee or John Lewis? Those are history making candidates I could have gotten behind!

13. At this point my "supporting" either will do little. I'm saving my energies for after
one is officially nominated. GOTV etc.

Oh yes, and speaking out against nastiness of all kinds, doing folk dances, feeding little birdies in the trees...all these things I'm using my energies for.

29. I'm even worse
I jumped on the Edwards train late after my previous choices quit; guess it's because I hate Southerners, apparently. Since I'm ambivalent at best about the two remaining candidates, I am apparently a McCain worshipper who has a secret identity as a freeper administrator. Top that!
