Poll question: Iraq
Edited on Thu Feb-28-08 12:06 AM by laconicsax
We can all yell at each other until we're blue in the face (until our fingers are bleeding?) about who has the 'higher ground' with regards to Iraq and we have the full power of the Internet to make a case for one candidate or another.

My question is this:

What's more important right now, and which will be more important on January 20th 2009?

How we got into Iraq and how we stayed there, or how we get out of Iraq and when?

Edited by popular demand to include the third choice.

2. Need a category for both.
Taking care of both is planetary triage. Getting out prevents more deaths now. Trying the bastards who put us there for that crime and the further crimes they perpetrated while we were there may hinder future such fiasco's and will help heal a wounded world. I see both as equal and equally necessary.

9. How we got there is more important, because it foretells whether we will make such further mistakes.
We know Obama will get us out. We don't know that Hillary won't be duped again.

10. The Kyl-Lieberman vote was a good indicator
that she could be duped again, IMHO.

13. We don't have a time machine
So we should focus all of our efforts to getting out of Iraq first.

14. Getting out is quite important, but
We must be damn sure we will never be duped into this kind of thing again. So both are important.

17. We should have never gone into Iraq. But since we did the important
question is how and when to get out.... it is all that we can control now..... the best solution wins.
