Obama's reluctance to force adults to pay for Health insurance shows a real sensitivity
to a deep-seated American reluctance to let the Goverment into all aspects of life.

The idea of fines, wage-garnishing etc. to force an adult to purchace health insurance just does not sit well with many folk.

With the MSM "honoring" the great libertarian Will Buckley's passing, I am glad Obama is not the one arguing for "NO FREEDOM to be left alone."

1. I'm all in favor of an individual mandate IF THEY CAN BUY INTO MEDICARE "at cost."

Edwards was the only one who included THAT component in his plan.

It would also be good if there was a CORPORATE mandate that was higher than the cost of not insuring your employees.
