It's about judgement
Edited on Thu Feb-28-08 02:28 PM by kentuck
John McCain has attacked Barack Obama over the al Qaeda in Iraq. It's true al Qaeda was not there before the invasion but they are there now. We are not winning the "war". We have bought some time before the next offensive. We are buying time at the rate of about $12-15 billion dollars per month.

However, with John McCain, we would continue the policies of the most incompetent President in our lifetimes. John McCain does not have the judgement to be President of the United States. We cannot afford it. We cannot endure it. He must be defeated. We do not need a clone of George W Bush for 4 more years. No matter if we have to vote for an old yeller dog, we should not put our country through any more of these disastrous Republican policies.

Just like Bush, John McCain is a warmonger. His policies do not make America safer. They put us at more risk. He is tied at the hip to George W Bush. Even his economic plans and making the taxcuts permanent are just a continuation of the George Bush policies. John McCain's embrace of George Bush is reason enough alone to send him packing. It's not about whether we choose Hillary or Obama, it's about whether we choose 4 more years of George W Bush.

1. Correct! It's about judgment on Day One. Obama has it. Hillary doesn't.

Hillary always says she was duped. For years, she was duped. It's never her fault.

If you can be fooled by Bush in 2002, how good can you be at judgment? Especially if you didn't learn by 2004 and renounce it like Kerry and Edwards did? Everyone takes a head fake now and then, but we want someone who didn't take the head fake and can't be suckered into a stupid and wrong war.

2. And neither does McCain...
We will find ourselves in another ditch with McCain at the helm. He is a clone of GWB.

4. Al Qaeda is not in Iraq.
Al Qaeda is a little tiny terrorist organization.

The reason the Pukes call 'em "al Qaeda in Iraq" is because they're not "al Qaeda."

Were they al Qaeda, they would call them "al Qaeda."

5. And the question is not really how do we get out of this ditch?
It is how do we prevent going into another ditch? His judgement has to be questioned.

6. I guess we vote for people who don't have a habit of driving into ditches.

7. That might be a wise thing to do..
when we go to the polls. We need leaders - not followers.
