Whats better: Obama/Bloomberg or Obama/Clark
personally i would hope to see a Obama Bloomberg because of the terrible economy, but a clark for vp would also be a wise choice to go against the republican. Clinton supporters please feel free to say who you would see your candidate with.

1. Part of me would be very disappointed if Barack chooses Bloomberg
We have so many great Dems.

6. I thought he was a Dem
but switched when he ran for Mayor. He is about as left wing as a Republican can get I guess.

28. I do too, but Webb is a newb.
And we can't run two first termers, no matter how good Webb is.

34. Why?
Because it isn't the "normal thing to do?" I think the two of them could really bring some change. But it will never happen, I know. I can still hope

4. Clark, definitely.
He has the military experience that would really strengthen the ticket.

9. They are both lousy. Bloomberg raised money for Reps, including Bush.
So that disqualifies him, even leaving out that the basis of his politics is that he has a lot of money. Plus, he's from NY, which means he doesn't add anything to the ticket - Obama will take NY. Clark doesn't bring any votes in, either - he has no political backing outside some people in the Democratic party. We need someone who's a proven vote-getter in an important general election state.

10. Much as I would llike to see him pick Clark, I don't think it's very likely to happen
I seem to remember him endorsing Hillary a long time ago. I could definitely get behind Obama/Webb though I'd rather not lose another Democrat in the Senate.

33. Could Dean even be VP, because of his DNC position?

I really admire the man, though, and would like that just fine if he were VP! :)

22. Clark for several reasons....
1) "a Democrat's Democrat"(words of George McGovern)
2) military/security strength
3) perceived as moderate, but really liberal
4) good attack dog vp
5) helps in south and west
6) props obama up in foreign policy
7) is not a senator, so we don't lose an elected Dem
8) has worked harder in 06 for more candidates to help us win
9) is a good debater
10) his nomination would be seen as unity with the Hillary crowd

23. Bloomberg's a fascist asshat.
Do you forget he illegally threw everyone in jail for three days so the RNC could enjoy Manhattan undisturbed by protestors in 2004?

26. Wes Clark majored in econ and
taught it at West Point, and understands all aspects of related business matters. He has had ideas about things to do for u.s. economy since before '04 election.

SO he would be a fine v.p. for obama, in need of foreign policy and military 'backup,' as well as someone to work on financial/economy type issues.
