Saw my first Obama bumpersticker today
Ours are on backorder. Let me explain why this was a big deal to me. I live in the middle of Long Island in NY. Our primary was a foregone conclusion. It might have been a little more contested if it were held today. I don't really know. But it's Clinton's state and on February 5th, there was never any question. I didn't see much of anything in the way of signage of any kind prior to the primary. We also don't really care enough to have a lot of political bumperstickers here in what I call drive-by country (The part that people drive by on the way to the Hamptonz from the city or vice versa). I see more on one trip up the NYS thruway than in a couple of weeks of driving around here. And here, they tend to be more for local pols than national ones. The other thing that was pretty cool was that this one was on a pick-up driven by a white guy who was clearly over 40. Oh, yes. Come November, we'll be Obama country!

4. I don't have a car
but I did have an Obama sticker on my bag. But it fell off somewhere when I was walking down the street. The Mission in San Francisco is crawling with Obamanauts.

7. My Obama stickers on the car are still holding up although I haven't
seen the lawn sign since the 2 foot of snow we got overnight in mid-January!
