I have never seen so much excitement this early in the election cycle. It's about as wild a rumor as I've heard, but dozens of people are chiming in, certain that The Evil One is planning to steal the election by lawsuit; they are outraged and some are ready to riot.

Just like the picture of Obama in Somali clothing that was released by RW smear artists. The Obama partisans believed Drudge without even looking into the story.

I am shocked at the level of viciousness directed at the Clintons. Seeing some of the stuff posted here against the Clintons (including right-wing smears!) blows my mind. Its one thing to disagree with them on issues, but its another thing entirely to spit venom in their direction at the mere mention of their names.

Right-wing talking points and attacks on the Clintons have beeen standard fare in much of the public political discussion on tv and radio since 1992, thats why I liked this place so much before the primary heated up - it was an oasis of thoughtful political discussion free of hate-filled anti-Clinton attacks until this primary. If anti-Clinton bile becomes acceptable fare here once we have a nominee then I won't stay on after the primary season, but I am very hopeful that won't be the case.
