If you want it to be the DEMOCRATIC nominee.
You should reject and denounce all republican support for Obama... in the primaries. It's the general that they have to show up for, and there's no guarantee that they will!

1. No guarantee it won't and
the numbers are being exaggerated anyway. He's brought new voters to the process.

2. Do we have to reject Democratic support for Clinton, like in Texas?
Edited on Fri Feb-29-08 07:22 AM by Mass
They have called to vote Clinton to beat Obama that they consider as the toughest candidate.

3. How inane. There are never any guarantees
and what would you suggest we do here in Vermont, where there is NO party registration? Your demand is ludicrous.

4. Suppose I reject AND denounce.
What did I accomplish?

I don't live in Texas.

The primary/caucus/delegate process as decided by the Democratic Party in Texas per the U.S. Constitution is in effect.

Who the hell CARES what I think?

5. Obama isn't getting Republican Support
He is getting rethug votes in the primaries which, if you have been reading and listening to accounts from the other side, will know why. Isn't it nice that our Dem leaders are allowing the Republicans to choose our nominee for us.
