44-42% according to new Cspan poll, affiliated with Zogby. (I know, Zogby botched CA big, but this poll fits right on the trend line.)

6. Just heard a local RI radio personality on MSNBC saying that
RI is tightening up, there are 27% UNDECIDED, and Obama is holding rally there on Saturday. Even if Obama doesn't win RI, it is not expected that Clinton will win by the margins last polled. There is a HUGE university population there that Obama is successfully mobilizing.

10. This shift in polling can only be attributed to the undeniable fact that
all Ohioans are sexist pigs.

Same for Texas. Clinton held a commanding lead in Texas, too, but has lost it because all Texans are sexist pigs, especially Texans like the late Molly Ivins, who was the biggest sexist pig of all.

Same for Wisconsin. Clinton held a lead there as well, but owing to the fact that Wisconsin Democrats are all sexist pigs, she lost the lead and Obama won the state by 17% -- which is an indication of just how many sexist pigs there are on the Democratic registration lists in that state.

And if Senator Clinton does not carry Vermont in the primary on Tuesday, we know that it's all those sexist pigs up there who have aligned against her because she's a woman.

in WI it was because we have open primaries and the sneaky republicans were just setting us up to choose Obama so we would lose...but yep, we're sexist pigs one and all too!

27. If she loses Texas AND Ohio, she must concede. Rhode Island notwithstanding.
This can be over without much dissent except for those too blind to see if Obama can just win both Texas and Ohio. At that point, Hillary will step down, and we can concentrate on McCain and November.

If not, it's up to her as to how much she wants to put into a losing cause. She must win Texas and Ohio to have a heartbeat. Both of them.

Rhode Island isn't going to do it.

at least according to the Clinton campaign.

33. I think the story is Obama has to win DECISIVELY in OH, TX, and VA or it's all over for him.
That's version 4.3.6 of the story.

Stay tuned for versions 4.3.7, 4.4, etc.

36. But seriously folks ...
If she doesn't get at least neat 50% in the voting in Texas, it will be virtually impossible for her to win. Obama's superior ground game in Texas virtually assures him a 20-30 delegate advantage coming out of TX unless Clinton takes 55% of the vote. We have seen this week that the superdelegates are not going to break for Clinton. They are politicians, after all. That make their living by jumping onto the winning side.

Despite what some of the Clinton supporters have been saying here, most people have been rather supportive of her choice to contest the battle to this point. If she loses in TX, which now seems extremely likely, there will be a ton of pressure from her to get out of the race next week. And if she doesn't take the cue, you are going to see superdelegates lining up behind Obama in big numbers next week. If she won't concede, they will take the decision out of her hands.
