How can you tell the DU'ers from the candidates paid bloggers?

They have much better things to worry about than spamming up DU. Really. At the DNC we're viewed with about the same regard as FR.

I think you're onto something but there are normal DUers who've gotten swept up in this whole thing...I've seen some take cheap shots. And I've given those folks smilies when they start acting like human being again.

4. Real DU'ers stick to the facts

At least that was one of the great things about this site.

I have noticed most posts claiming this or that about either candidate have not had links to back up those statements. Sad to see this happen here on DU.

Sure there are campaign staffers that post on the Internet. They have as much of a right as anybody to do so. And campaigns ought to monitor it the some way that they monitor other media.
