6. Lab or Goldie?

We just lost our friend, Barley, mix of the two breeds with the best qualities of both. Best-natured fellow you ever met. Wherever we went, little kids asked, "Can we pet your dog, please?" He loved it.

Had a very happy four years together. He was probably 7 or 8 yrs when we got him from those nice Rescue Folks. Bone cancer.

That picture brings back some wonderful memories, and reminds me that we may be ready for a puppy. Would have to be one just like yours. :hi:

Another great combination is a Lab-Coon Hound/Lab-Pointer mix. Before Barley we had another adult mixed-breed rescue dog who came with the country-girl name, Blanche. That dog was so smart, I swear, she was human -- definitely someone home when you looked in her eyes. She absolutely loved us, and vis-a-versa.
