How I respond to the Obama 'name game' crap

Obama never chose that middle name. And never uses it. He never HAS used it. In fact, he used to call himself "Barry." So calling attention to that name as if he DOES use it is just plain silly.

Nobody insisted on calling Mitt Romney by his full name. Nobody made a point of calling him "Willard." And nobody was stupid enough to assert that Mitt must have an obsession with rats just because he has the same name as a movie character that does (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0310357/)

Likewise, it is idiotic to say that Obama must be a "secret Muslim" because somebody stuck him with an African name as an infant.

Life ain't easy for a boy named Sue... or one named Barack Hussein Obama. But old Barry seems to have turned out pretty well, in spite of it.

So, get over yourself. Let's talk issues instead.
