Already, an estimated 600,000 Texans have cast ballots in 254 counties in the early voting period, which ended Friday; Clinton campaign organizer Matt Clemons says an estimated 30 percent of them were Latino, nearly 60 percent were women, and two-thirds were age 50 or older, all good signs for Clinton.

If he's hanging with her -- as most early voting polls suggest -- (some saying he's ahead) Clinton is in big trouble!

Thanks for posting this Herman, I feel even better now. :)

4. Awesome!

If Clinton can't get more than 50% of the vote with two-thirds over 50, then it really is over!

Rec'd!

6. This poll says early voting Obama 58% Hillary 42%
yes, I know other polls have shown differently- just pointing out that it's hard to read the early voting tea leaves.

"We've seen time and time again that Obama has the ability to energize and mobilize his voters in the caucus process," said Iannelli.

The best indication of that in our tracking poll is of the voters who cast ballots so far in early voting - 58 to 42 per cent supported Obama.

8. Rasmussen had Obama winning by 6.
Survey USA also only polled the first 3 days of early voting. Belo's first three reports on early voting showed a 50/50 split. Their third and fourth waves showed Obama winning by 10 points each times.

9. That poll's final day of polling was 5 days ago -- pretty outdated.

Plus, if Obama is within 5 of Clinton and over 60% of the voters who have cast their ballot are over 50, that does not bode well for Clinton. These demographics favor Clinton and she should be up big in early voting with them. If she's only up 5 -- which could be even smaller now (especially with no number of African American voters), she could lose Texas by double digits.

10. Rasmussen has Obama up by 6 among early voters

Honestly, though- I expect Hillary to win the popular vote in Texas due to her strength among Hispanics. But I expect Obama to get more delegates because of the Texas rules and the caucus.

13. I don't see anything in the article which says this is based on a "Clinton internal poll"
it's seems like the Clinton person just making an assumption. All the other polling companies I've seen have shown early voting even or slightly for HRC or Obama.
