Does Bill Clinton support Obama?
All the following quotes are attributed to William Jefferson Clinton -

"I still believe in a place called Hope."

"The same old experience is not relevant. You can have the right kind of experience and the wrong kind of experience"

"When our memories outweigh our dreams, we have grown old"

"Our destiny is bound up with the destiny of every other American."

"You can’t blame your opponents for applying a strategy that beats your brains out with regularity."

"The price of doing the same old thing is far higher than the price of change"

"Profound and powerful forces are shaking and remaking our world. And the urgent question of our time is whether we can make change our friend and not our enemy."

"Our rich texture of racial, religious and political diversity will be a Godsend in the 21st century. Great rewards will come to those who can live together, learn together, work together, forge new ties that bind together."

"Pessimism is an excuse for not trying and a guarantee to a personal failure."

Consider these and who they apply to

Hillary could've won - big time. She blew it by not knowing how to use Bill in her campaign.

She could've re-written history of the Clinton era as a time - sandwiched between two crappy Bushes and two crappy economies - where Americans actually did have hope and did experience success. She could've evoked these quotes and attached her own campaign to them - backed with the experience of actually delivering what was promised to millions of Americans.

Somewhere down the road, the Clintons got cynical (understandably so), but that's not a product Americans want to buy.

3. couple of FDR quotes as well

"Pessimism is an excuse for not trying and a guarantee to a personal failure."

"It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something."

"The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. Let us move forward with strong and active faith."

"Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds."

And some things that are good to remember in the current conflict:
"Whoever seeks to set one religion against another seeks to destroy all religion."

"We must remember that any oppression, any injustice, any hatred, is a wedge designed to attack our civilization."

"Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough."

"Whoever seeks to set one race against another seeks to enslave all races.
