Clinton: Texas TownHall - to be broadcast on FoxSports, across TX
Edited on Sat Mar-01-08 04:13 PM by Kittycat
Fox Sports?

It's taking place on Monday night. This will be interesting. Unfortunately, we won't watch it. My husband has all the sports stations (and FoxNews) blocked on our TiVo lineup - he doesn't care much for sports or Fox. Lucky me

ETA: Just heard this live on her rally, airing on Ballot Bowl - CNN.

1. "Fox Sports?"
If that network is cheap enough to sell "magic dusters" on for 16 hours per day, its cheap enough that Hillary can afford to buy air time.

2. Yep, FoxSports
That's what she said. I did a double take, and had to back up tivo 20seconds just to make sure. It's not nationwide, just centered on TX/SW?

5. Yes, it'll be in Southwest Texas. On Fox Sports Net.

On Monday, Clinton will host what the campaign calls a “Texas-Sized” interactive town hall that will be broadcast along the southern part of Texas on Fox Sports Network. The town hall is intended for Clinton to field as many questions from voters as possible, but given the part of Texas this is being broadcast, it's clear that the intention of the campaign to reach out to Hispanic voters, a group that has traditionally made up a strong base of support for her. Clinton did a similar town hall in New York on the Hallmark Channel prior to Super Tuesday.

4. Must be cheaper than the Hallmark Channel
or maybe Hallmark wouldn't preempt The Waltons for something so depressing.
