There is no proof that I can find ANYWHERE that Obama did anything wrong re: Rezko. He may have exercised bad judgement in the house deal (because Rezko was already under investigation), but certainly nothing illegal.

As for Obama and the old sixties radicals from the Weather Underground, there is nothing to this story other than the fact that they know each other. It's not like Obama, at age 5, was helping them bomb buildings. It's absurd on its face.

I'm not wild about either of our candidates getting smeared with stories like this, as it lowers the level of debate enormously.

Far better to stick with things the candidates do or say which impact actual voters than to try and tarnish them with bogus stories about supposed nefarious connections.

Not everything can be explained away by claiming there's no evidence of illegalities. First, the trial is just beginning Monday, and there are details to their 17-year relationship which may not be illegal, but may call into question his judgment and honesty.
