Nothing in the Clinton campaign demonstrates she can take on mccain adequately
Edited on Sun Mar-02-08 06:50 AM by still_one
She is basing her campaign on experience, and yet her campaign against Obama, who she said lacks experience, isn't doing so great.

Hillary says she would be the best to go against mccain. Then why is Obama so difficult beat? Why would one assume that she would do well against mccain? After all, mccain has even more experience than she does.

If she cannot even do well against someone she says "lacks" experience, then there is nothing that inspires confidence with her campaign against mccain.

and saying that the media is against her, or the voters are being fooled, doesn't cut it.

If her campaign is having such a problem in the primaries, then we have a major problem if she is the nominee, because obviously, for whatever reason, her message is NOT resonating

3. Hell, how can she run an "experience" campaign against someone
Edited on Sun Mar-02-08 06:55 AM by FrenchieCat
with more "experience" than her? How is that gonna work out for Democrats in the GE?

Does she think that the media is never gonna start digging into this 35 years of experience she's been claiming? If she thinks they are not (and they haven't yet only to help her), she will be taken by surprise again....just like when Obama surprised her ass.

4. A year ago when she announced her candidacy, I asked her supporters her
can she overcome the Clinton hate machine from the republicans?

I was told repeatedly that because she went through that experience in the 90's, she can handle anything

All I can say is her campaign has done anything BUT inspire confidence

6. The media has been harder on her.
Edited on Sun Mar-02-08 07:21 AM by GoPsUx
I think if she was running against almost any other dem she would be a shoe in.
I also think that it is hard to defeat new or change.
And that is what more people are drawn toward this cycle.
I feel bad for her honestly.
She has pissed me off with a few of her votes during the last 7 or so years and the choices she and others made will always bother me.
But when I think of how the media and the right wing has treated her it really pisses me off.
She is a good person and doesn't deserve half the shit she has been put through.
And as an person who voted for Obama and am rooting for him to go against McCain
I would of backed her if I believed she could attract the independents that Barack is courting.
I would of..
I don't care about genitalia or skin tone I want the fucking Whitehouse gawd dammit
I wish her and Bill the best of luck and I salute them for the 8 years of prosperity they gave us as Pres and First lady.

7. Assuming all your points are valid, the fact that she has a problem
with overcoming those points, especially the assertion that the "media has been harder on her", doesn't mean that she is the right candidate, if for nothing else, that she cannot seem to get beyond it

Elections are very tough, look at what Gore and Kerry went through, and you are right whoever attracts the independents will be able to win the general election. No matter what people say, i.e., mccain is too old, etc. etc., underestimating your opponent is a MAJOR mistake. I believe that the Clinton campaign underestimated Obama. I certainly hope NEITHER campaign underestimates mccain.

Yes, I am an Obama supporter, and yes I will vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is in the General Election WITHOUT hesitation

9. I agree
I am an Obama supporter to.
I was just pointing out the fact that certain cards were stacked against her.
And I too will pull the Lever for Mrs Clinton without hesitation..(Or should I say color in the little circle with my pencil.)

8. I don't think she'll beat him
He'll strike a note with the Independents that she will not. They like him. They don't like her. So simple.
