When it Comes to Wal-Mart, Hillary Clinton is Queen
Hillary Clinton is the favored recipient of campaign money from Wal-Mart executives, where she once served on the board of directors and was silent when workers tried unsuccessfully to organize.

Officers and directors of the retail giant have given more money to presidential candidates in this race than in the previous two election cycles combined, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

More than one-third of the at least $33,700 donated by Wal-Mart officers and directors for the presidential race has gone to Clinton.

The former first lady served on Wal-Mart’s board of directors from 1986 to 1992 while she was first lady of Arkansas.

Her total of $12,200 so far from Wal-Mart executives tops that of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who received $7,150 before he dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination in January. Mike Huckabee, a Republican still in the race, picked up $7,050 from Wal-Mart’s leaders.

1. Here's an ironic note from that article
Edited on Sun Mar-02-08 08:52 AM by Armstead
"Clinton has taken $3,000 from Aida Alvarez, a Wal-Mart director who served as director of the Small Business Administration under President Bill Clinton."

So the former director of the SMALL BUSINESS Administration under Bill Clinton is on the board of one of the major killers of small business in the US.

Oh the irony.
