9. What is it about Dem presidential candidates and beards?

Since Al Gore, it seems to be 'the done thing' to disappear for a while after you lose and then return with a silky beard. There were rumors of John Edwards growing one too. At this point I'm expecting Hillary to reappear with a little goatee in a few months.

I do like it on Richardson though. Beards are cool.
