Please let me get through this caucus without offending any of my friends and neighbors. Please ensure that this is conducted fairly and according to the rules. Please make sure that the total lunatics do not show up and if they do that I can throw them out quickly and in a legal manner. Please make sure that the zillions of lawyers in my precinct do not decide that this would be a fun venue in which to grandstand. Please do not have the media show up and decide that it would be amusing to have a three ring circus in the gym. Please make sure I have enough of a grasp of Roberts Rules of Order to get through this. Please do not have anybody sue my ass or if they do please make sure I have enough insurance that they don't get the house.

something that will project your voice that might help you. My caucus in WA was great, however, the poor women trying to bring order had to almost yell at the top of her lungs to get all of the excited participants to quiet down so we could start.

I intend on asking a Hillary person (assuming I am the permanent chair, which I expect) to be up at the front with us at all times to watch what is going on and approve each step we take. My normal past precinct conventions have taken 45 minutes, so I'm giving this one 2 hours. Slow and easy does it. And I intend on letting people talk things out. Then I'm gettin' drunk.

even though I've never been to one, much less been a precinct captain or a secretary.
