And thing is that not long ago, she would have come up with that answer - or an equally good one - immediately.

She had a real gift for taking any question, and responding to it in such a way as to focus on her own attributes, and the positive aspects of her platform.

She is really off her game. I still think she is a fabulously talented politician, and truly committed to public service - but she is really off her game, and I'm sorry to see it happen.

Here, people... don't just take a 23-second clip and draw your conclusions from that. Why not watch the whole thing.

You might end up with the same feeling, but at least you haven't made it based on a 23-second video cut exactly where the person who entitled it "Stokes False Rumors" wanted to cut it.

The part about the Muslim "smears" starts around about 9:32 into the video.
