Too often we as young people are talked down to and criticized for our lack of concern about the state of the world today and our lack of involvement in current events and politics. However, I personally know that there are many involved and concerned young people out there, myself included.
What I'm asking you to do is show that you care. Show that you are concerned. Show that you have an opinion and a political viewpoint. whether it be Democratic, Republican, Independent, or anything else. What I would like you to do is post a video response to this video with a short clip of you naming a few issues that you are concerned about. All you have to do is look into your camera and say "I care about...." and the issue of your choice.
I'm going to put all these clips together in a video to show that we the youth do care. For more details keep reading below. Your opinions matter and can make a difference. The only person who can keep you silent is you. Stand Up. Speak Out. and Make a difference.
More details:
You can include as many issues as you like but please say "I care about" before listing each issue individually.
Feel free to add anything else to the end of the video and it may be included in the montage.
Also please try to video your response in front of a solid background, however I understand that is hard with some webcams so if you can't that is ok.
Saying "I care about.." and your issue(s) in another language is welcome! Just make sure that you translate it to English in your video description or else in a message to me.
After you video your "I Care" video and upload it to YouTube make sure to either make it a video response to this video or else send me a message with your video attached.
Feel free to sign up to start blogging at AvasArmy.com and post your YouTube video there. We'd love to have you join the site and political discussions!
