Yeah it could just be a set-up shot but he is willing to do just about anything. OLD school campaigning there.

Former President Bill Clinton delivers a speech from the back of a pickup truck to supporters of his wife, Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., in Dallas, Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008.

4. Old time populist campaign style
a bug Hillary never seemed to catch.

Ah well, I hear HRC campaign has hired staff in Montana. Maybe they figured out the great fly-over part of the nation might have some value after all?

11. /medicine man
and I don't mean anything by that.

This is reminiscent of the images of the old activist/organizers/populists isn't it?

22. Brought to mind a couple heroes of my youth
Cesar Chavez and RFK

Now, the older cynic in me wonders if that isn't the memory Bill was working to evoke.

Nah, I know he LIVES for the contact with people during a campaign. That we can see in his face.

5. In the first photo, he appears to be standing in a garbage can.... appropriate, given the tenor...
...of the Clinton campaign the past two months.

18. What you don't know about this
Is that big black barrel next to the truck was filled with ice water. He was getting people to pledge money to Hillary's campaign, and if they raised enough, he would go in the barrel for them. :)
