2. When did your Dad quit beating your Mom?
Does that help you understand the logical fallacy at work here?

13. Actually, yes, it is
Since Obama hasn’t been exactly candid about his relationship with Resko, and the only way Resko WONT be convicted is if there’s some sort of mistrial. Obama should say one way or another whether he will pardon his long time friend and business associate.

WILL OBAMA PARDON RESKO? I think it's a reasonable question, then again, I'm not Obamanoid.

12. No, it isn't
it would be highly inappropriate to even discuss such a thing while a trial is going on.

But if I had to guess, I'd say there's about a 0.001% chance he would pardon Rezko.

15. What makes you think that?
What if Resko has some huge nasty dirt on Obama ( which is very likely), and if he keeps his mouth shut about it, he has a get out of jail card. The only way to know for sure is force Obama to say he absolutely will not pardon Resko.

18. Provide proof that Rezko has dirt on Obama.
You can't, can you? Neither can Patrick Fitzgerald - which has already excluded him from any involvement.

10. I don't know about you but I won't pardon Hillary.....
Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 12:52 PM by virtualobserver
for sinking as low as she has in this campaign. After the "I'll take him at his word" and "as far as I know" comments about Obama's Christian beliefs.
Hillary didn't have Vince Foster killed "as far as I know". That's how weak the phrase "as far as I know" is.

As I endured the agony of being a Clinton supporter in the 90's, it hadn't occured to me that I would ever be on the opposite side of the Clinton's.
Now that I have seen their win at all cost mentality, I don't know if I'll ever be on their side again.

22. Why has he been evasive about the extent of his relationship with Resko thus far?
I think he should go ahead and say one way or another what he would do.

20. I don't know. Did Bill Clinton have an opportunity to pardon
either of these guys?

"There was a $2,100 sculpture of a goddess on a wooden base given by James Riady, an Indonesian businessman who pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations last year and agreed to pay $8.6 million in fines for using foreign corporate money to back Mr. Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign. The Clintons also received two sculptures worth $1,550 from Johnny Chung, who was at the center of a 1996 campaign fund-raising investigation."
