I've been waiting for my 24 hours to be up to post this..

There seems to be a perfect storm brewing in the Democratic Primary campaign and it has come none too soon! It's a shame that it didn't come two days ago, but I'll take what I can get.

Now that NAFTA-gate has legs and has shattered Obama's image as being someone who is somehow better than politics, he is no longer a transcendent figure. That means he is finally fair game. That means that Rezko is now fair game and they are talking about it again. That trial could not have been timed more interestingly.

And now he has shown that can't handle a tough press conference... which won't endear him to the media, but further wake them up to the fact that he is a human being like the rest of us.

This is what I predict:

Hillary will do well in Ohio and on squeek out a win in Texas (the early polling will hurt her because folks were voting before the Rezko trial and NAFTA-gate hit the news cycles)...

Regardless, she will hang on because Obama will have a full month of being exposed to the electorate as the fallable human being he is and the folks in subsequent states will have a chance to make an informed decision.

Hillary will show herself to be resiliant by bouncing back YET AGAIN and folks will finally start appreciating her sense of humour about herself and her tenacity.

Yes, the sexist spew will be on in force... but at least the playing field will have levelled somewhat and we'll have a race on our hands!

Democrats should not be upset by this. Anything that gives the Democrats free press is money in the bank!

fitzgerald was brought to chicago to clean up the democratic party in illinois but he was side tracked by the republican party`s scandals. now he`s going after the governor who is really not well liked by anyone in this state. we have several decent democrats to replace him but illinois usually replaces a corrupt democrat with a equally corrupt republican
